Happy New Year music fans! We have had a very busy holiday season. We added a few new artists for your insatiable new-music appetites. The first is Brooklyn singer/songwriter Sparlha Swa. She is a very talented singer who superbly blends jazz, latin, rock, and intimate acoustic guitar. Her influences include Sade, Billie Holiday, early Nina Simone, Joni Mitchell, Astrud Gilberto, Ravi Shankar, Salif Keita, Miriam Makeba, and more recently Radiohead, Jeff Buckley, and Lizz Wrigh. Check out her album "In The Distance". We will make another news post in a few days to tell you about another new artist in the Spindividual catalogue. Stay tuned!

Tonight we add a new band from Virginia, Conshafter. They are a hard rock indie outfit full of possiblities and wonder. They are a Spindividual choice pick and we highly recommend them. Their new album "A Slow Drive Off A Short Dive" is very good.

We are happy to announce that we have moved into the brand new Spindividual headquarters in Boston, Massachusetts. Some have called Boston the intersection of London and Venice. We are excited to call Boston home.

Straight out of Athens, Georgia, The Modern Skirts are now available on Spindividual. Their self released album "Catalogue of Generous Men", produced by Geoff Melkonian and mixed by John Keane, has been called "gorgeous pop music that has no qualms about its majestic style or its often sentimental subject matter. It's refreshingly indulgent, like splurging on the chocolate mousse even though it's loaded with calories and saturated fat." Check out tracks like "N.Y. Song" and "Pasadena", they are fantastic.
Don't change that channel, Spindividual will be back soon with fresh, new, MTV-less music just for you...

SPINDiViDUAL.com has recently switched hosting servers, and as a result it caused a short lived down period. The new switch promises more flexability, power, and growth for our artists. We are happy to announce a new band to the shelves of the Spindividual music store. Out of the near-mountain town Denver comes a power pop rock quintet, Meese. They are an awesome band and we highly recommend them.

Tonight we added two new bands! Aranka Fabian from Cleveland, Ohio and Geno from Boston, Massachusetts. Aranka Fabian recently released their second studio album "Interpolation" and it is fantastic. Geno recently released their new EP "Explosure". Check out the music store for these awesome bands and check back soon for new bands to come this week!
